Often clients and clinicians are unaware of what religious abuse is or how to recognize the effects of trauma that either stem from this abuse or problematic religious beliefs. In this presentation Tyler will provide a historical and psychological analyses of the coercive religious beliefs and practices that can cause harm to clients.
