Adolescent
Therapy

Adolescence is often described as the most turbulent period in a person’s life, and with good reason. The rapid physical, mental, and emotional changes characteristic of this developmental stage can be exciting, awkward, and confusing in the best of circumstances.

Adolescents who are struggling with mood disorders, developmental issues, family issues, etc… are at higher risk for difficulty, in part, because of the developmental changes they are experiencing. At Journey Counseling we work with the adolescent and family, as appropriate, to help them navigate the challenging adolescent years.

Our counselors develop individualized treatment plans for each client with clear objectives to help them achieve their counseling goals. Our counselors treat a variety of issues including, ADHD, depression, anxiety, neurodevelopmental disorders, and eating disorders.
