Christine Custred, LPC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master of Education in Counseling from the
University of Central Oklahoma, where I also serve as an adjunct professor in the Counseling
Department.
I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, families, and stepfamilies build healthy
relationships while working through past trauma and life’s challenges. I have completed both
Level 1 and Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, an evidence-based approach
that strengthens communication skills and teaches effective conflict management. I also
provide pre-marital counseling and divorce care. In my role as a high school counselor, I have
experience in supporting teens, young adults and families with anxiety, depression, self-
regulation and stress.
In my practice, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychoanalytic approaches to
support clients in creating meaningful, lasting change in their lives and relationships. My goal is
to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can engage in the
important work of therapy with confidence and trust.
I am available for Saturday appointments only and can be reached by phone at 405-397-9254 or
by email at christinecustredlpc@gmail.com.
