About the event
Ever had a client list their medications… and you weren’t sure what half of them were for? And other medication related questions? You’re not alone.
As therapists, we’re often told what a patient is taking, but not why, what the dosage means, or what side effects to watch for. That gap can make it harder to collaborate with prescribers, spot red flags, and support our patients in making informed decisions about their care.
Join us for a 3-hour CEU workshop (eligible for Ethics & Supervision credit) designed to bridge that gap between therapy and medication management.
You’ll learn how to:
Understand the most common psychotropic medications and why they’re prescribed
Recognize typical vs. concerning side effects (including those that impact therapy)
